Our axe handles have been designed by Hans Erik Persson.
The handle has an ergonomic design that gives a firm and comfortable grip.
The majority of the handles are made of the wood type Hickory which is strong and flexible. Some individual models are from copper beech.
The shafts are impregnated with warm linseed oil and beeswax, which increases the quality of the shafts.
All our shafts except the Small Hatchet and the Outdoor Axe are delivered together with a wooden wedge and a three-legged iron wedge.
The Small Hatchet and the Outdoor Axe are only delivered together with a wooden wedge, as these handles have a high risk of cracking if an iron wedge is driven in.

Gränsfors mangos de hacha

Nuestros mangos de hacha han sido diseñados por Hans Erik Persson. El mango tiene un diseño ergonómico que proporciona un agarre firme y cómodo. La mayoría de los mangos son de nogal americano, que es resistente y flexible. Algunos modelos individuales son de haya roja. Los mangos se impregnan con aceite de linaza caliente y cera de abejas, para una mayor calidad. Todos nuestros mangos, excepto el hacha pequeña y el hacha para exteriores, se suministran con una cuña de madera y una cuña de acero de tres patas. El hacha pequeña y el hacha para exteriores se suministran únicamente con una cuña de madera, ya que estos mangos tienen un alto riesgo de agrietarse si se utiliza una cuña de acero.
